It is an enormous pleasure and pride to share that we won the National Culinary Cup Bulgaria 2014!
The Culinary Cup of Bulgaria is the most famous and prestigious culinary championship in the country, where we took part in the 3 main categories: Culinary Team of the Year, Chef of the Year and Pastry Chef of the Year.
The Talents Team in Sofia is the gold medalist in the Culinary Team of Bulgaria 2014 category. Chef Robin Villareal with two of our best third semester students Vasil Yakimov and Milena Dimova, for only 10 weeks of working together, proofed to the jury and to the public at the Championship that talent combined with discipline and devotion can make the difference!
Chef Eduardo Cortes showed once again that his knowledge, skills and creativity deserve the highest award – Pastry Chef of 2014.
Chef Viktor Svetoslavov went to the finals on the Chef of the Year category, presenting fine original plates.
HRC Culinary Academy awarded a special scholarship to the winner in the Junior Chef of 2014 category – Georgi Istiliyanov, a graduating student from the Sofia Vocational High School of Tourism.
